About Me

Before coming to Providence Creek Academy Charter School, I recently graduated from the Universtiy of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Teacher Education. Right after graduation, I received a position as a Title One Paraprofessional within Capital School District teaching small groups of reading and math intervention. I then left Capital School District receiving a long term substitute position in third grade here at PCA. After this position ended, I kept substituting and also taught Spring Academy here at PCA. I have been here ever since and I love it here! Other things about me: I have three dogs, they are my fur babies. I love spending time with them. I also love shopping, ice coffee, fall weather and having fun with my students while we are learning.

Important Reminders

1) Reading log is due Friday.

2) Market Day is on Friday: Students need to wear professional attire, boys: dress pants, dress shoes, button down shirt with tie. Girls: Dresses with flats or heals. Or nice dress pants with a nice shirt.

Please make sure students bring in all of their products they are selling in on Thursday or Friday Market day. Try to aim for the day earlier just in case you were to forget on Friday.

3) We will also be making posters for their stands for Market Day. This will be happening on Thursday, please make sure your student has a small rectangular poster board for Thursday. If you would like to bring it in a day earlier just incase you were to forget on Thursday that is fine.

4) The Blue Rocks Field Trip is on Wednesday, we are going rain or shine. Students do not need to pack a lunch it will be included with their tickets. They need to wear jeans or jean shorts or uniform shorts with a PCA shirt or if they do not have a PCA shirt try to aim for purple polo shirt or uniform shirt. Have students wear sneakers. Students received a reminder sheet for the Blue Rocks Field trip in their mail today, they should have taken it home.
